Hilarious Fixer Upper Bloopers Ahead Of Magnolia Network Premiere
Fan around the world were devastated when Chip and Joanna announced their departure from HGTV in 2018. This dynamic duo graced our television sets for years with their popular home renovation show that made ship lap a common phrase.
After five successful seasons, Chip and Joanna chose to step away. They told Jimmy Fallon, “TV is a tough business, we came into this whole thing sort of ‘shock and awe’. We had never had any inspiration to be on television, we didn’t know anything about the business… after five years we really realized we really wanted to take a step back and really focus on our marriage, focus on our family and kinda catch our breath.”
During that time, Chip and Joanna welcomed their fifth child to the family, opened a shopping destination with restaurant and became frequent collaborators with stores such as Target. But their fans have been eager to see them return to television.
Thankfully, that wait is almost over. Chip and Joanna teamed up with Discovery Inc., which owns HGTV, to create their lifestyle channel, Magnolia Network. Premiering on January 25th, this brand new network will feature new episodes of Fixer Upper, as well as other original productions.
Now, we’re taking a look back at some of the funniest moments in Fixer Upper history that never made it to screen.
I sure have missed this couple and I’m so excited to see where this journey takes them.
