Chris has been a powerful force within the Christian music scene for decades. Through his worship songs and empowering lyrics, his voice brings us back to the Lord. ‘The First Hymn’ is no exception as it brings our weary hearts to a place of praise. We will encounter many hardships and struggles in this world, yet the Lord will deliver us from them all. 

The main focus of ‘The First Hymn’ is recognizing God’s power and sovereignty. All glory, praise, and worship belongs to Him alone. From the beautiful sun rising in the morning to the twinkling stars at night, God is the Creator of them all. By reflecting on these truths, it can bring our heart to a place of awe and wonder. 

Chris wants us to stand in awe of God as we listen to ‘The First Hymn.’ We all need to take time and kneel before the King. Everything we see in creation was formed by God’s own hands.
