Mom Turns 'Little Mermaid' Classic Tune into Hilarious, Spot-On Parody

A mom has turned a classic “Little Mermaid” tune into a hilarious and spot-on parody. The woman took “Part of Your World” and changed some words to create a hysterical tune about parenting. Watch the short but hilarious to hear the mother’s gut-bustlingly funny, uproarious tune.

Without a doubt, children are some of the biggest and best blessings in life. They add so much happiness and joy to every household. No parent would ever go back to when they did not have their children. Children make life infinitely better in every single way.

However, as great as children are, being a parent can sometimes be tiring. The demands of being a parent can make mothers and fathers want some time to themselves, away from their children. In a clip posted on YouTube, one woman captures this desire, likely that many parents want to get away from their children for even a short time. Sometimes, as she sings, you would like to be part of the world where other adults are.

Her creative and inventive parody is hysterical and likely rings true for many moms and dads.

“I’ve got laundry and dishes aplenty.
Meal plans and schedules galore.
You want magnet titles? I’ve got 120!
But who cares? No big deal! They want more!”

The video also shows that in addition to keeping the same tune and some of the same words, this mom even found ways to mimic some of Ariel’s moves from the film as she sang the beloved song. It’s such a spot-on and hilarious clip.

In an interview, Hailey Osborn, the mom responsible for the hilarious tune, mentioned that the parody came about because she “wanted to be where the grown-ups are.”  The video’s description mentions that when Hailey was first writing the song, she made herself laugh and then just kept on going.

Proverbs 22:6 “If a child is trained up in the right way, even when he is old he will not be turned away from it.”
