Actor Dick Van Dyke Hands Out Money To The Unemployed

Recently in Malibu, actor Dick Van Dyke was seen giving away money to some unemployed Californians. How generous is that!
The Mary Poppins star was out running errands when he decided to take out some cash from an ATM. Then he went to visit the Malibu Community Labor Exchange which is a non-profit organization that helps unemployed people find jobs.

Once he was there, the 95-year-old actor started greeting the people that were waiting in line at the Malibu Community Labor Exchange and handing out stacks of cash to them. I’m sure that those who were blessed to receive Dick’s generosity were shocked to see the famed actor at first. And then even more surprised that he was giving away money! What a way to turn around anyone’s day!

With the current unemployment rate in California around 8.5% and the hardships that this past year of the pandemic has brought many people, it is wonderful to see Dick Van Dyke using his blessings to bless others. What a way to make a difference in someone’s life!

And even if we don’t have money that we can readily give away, there is always some way that we can help others in need. Whether it is lending a helping hand or sharing an encouraging word. Or we could volunteer at a local organization close to our heart. There is always some way to be the hands and feet of Jesus!
