Hey, thanks for stopping by! Along with audio engineering and producing, I have been writing songs ever since I can remember. I began playing guitar as a child, and have plucked away at it off and on at varying levels of intensity ever since. These days I play out on occasion, help lead worship at our church, and record with others as time allows. As a child of the King, my eternal citizenship is in heaven, but presently I am blessed to make my earthly abode in RI with my beautiful wife Jennifer and our teenage daughter Linnea. Our 3 older kids (oops...adult children) have abandoned this nest to seek and build ones of their own. Jen and I also have 3 grandchildren, soon to be 4whew! We are so proud of them! God has been so good to us over the years, and we give Him thanks for what He has done.
Over the years, in addition to developing my project recording studio I have been focused studying acoustic guitars--differing brands, different woods utilized in construction, and the incredibly diverse range in tonality based on these and other variables such as age. My craze has been arranging and composing music and songs (especially sacred music) while experimenting with various acoustic guitars of our day, as well as studying old prewar Martin and Gibson models. More recently I have been learning the lap steel guitar and ukelele--man I love that laid back Hawaiian sound! I hope to post song clips here that fellow stringed instrument nuts might find inspiring or even somewhat instructive. I am always learning myself, and love watching how others play/experience their music.
Hope you enjoy, Ken
