Divine Mercy

DIVINE MERCY initial started in January of 2010 when guitarist James and other musicians across the Upstate met to try and form a Contemporary Christian band to “take the music out of the church.” The band struggled in its early days from constant turnover of musicians. In August of 2010, the band found stability when it added Harold as drummer. With the turnover of musicians ending, the turnover of lead singers began. Finally, in October of 2011, the band welcomed Cami who adds vocals and aux. keys to the band. Harold has moved from drums to bass and keys and has contributed many original songs. The band is still in search for a drummer. The band has also moved from being a cover band to a band playing more original music by Harold Reid, the bass player. DIVINE MERCY is a ministry-focused band. Band members are not paid and any money the band receives is invested back into the bands infrastructure for needs like a PA system, amps, strings, etc.
