This Man Was TERRIFIED Of What Was In The Bucket. What He Found Inside He NEVER Expected!

 These students get an "A" for Awww!

The words 'High School' and 'pranks' go hand-in-hand. And the word 'prank' is usually something bad and a reason to be punished. Well, not in THIS case! These kids pulled a prank on their Principal that left him speechless - in a good way!

The seniors at North High School in Wichita, Kansas had a prank in mind for their Principal, Padgett. But, he was ready - he sensed the seniors were up to something. And, he was right...just not the kind of mischief he was expecting.

Last Wednesday, when a student offered the Principal a black, paint bucket, this was his reply:

“No way,” Padgett told senior, Emily Jones. “I’m not holding your bucket … You’re going to put fish eyes in it or something.”

He didn't accept the bucket at first, but later in the day, it re-appeared on his desk. He was stunned. The bucket contained notes from his students thanking him for who he was and for his work as their Principal.

"I became a little emotional on some of them," Padgett said after reading the notes, "I kind of read them and thought, 'Man, this is better than a paycheck. This is why I do the things that I do.'"

Jones, who organized the prank, worked with some friends and a guidance counselor to print and distribute enough cards for the entire senior class to participate.

The idea took off and many students were more than happy to share their favorite memories of their principal.

"You've made my first year experience in America one that I will always fondly remember," one note read from an exchange student.

Another one said,

“Thank you for the shirt you gave me, when I didn’t have clothes on my back...you provided."

While Padgett may be overwhelmed by the beautiful gift, Jones says that her Principal deserves the thanks.

“Mr. Padgett is a great principal -- the kind who dresses up like the Grinch for a pep assembly. So it wasn’t too hard.”

Ephesians 3:16-19 teaches us, "I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge - that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God."
