Kitten Was Rescued After Being Born In A Cactus Patch

This small, hopeless kitten was born inside of a cactus patch. The other kittens of the litter died, but when some people stumbled across this little guy, they knew they could save him.

He was about 3 weeks old, starving, hurt, and possibly dying.

His eyes and nose were swollen and crusted shut. He had hundreds of cactus needles embedded in his skin, even some so small you couldn't see them!

The vets thought that if the kitten ever opened its eyes, he would be blind. He was also weak and malnourished. All veterinarians thought the kitten would perish.

But with medicine, attention, and affection, Jack is now a perfectly normal kitten. It took many weeks of treatment to just get him to the point where he might enjoy life. What a sweet little kitten. Thank God someone saved him!
