I am a farmboy who played basketball in high school. Moved on to play ball in college, but college life was too fun. Joined the military to get discipline in my life. Was able to play basketball in the military and traveled the world for the military and playing basketball. Met my lovely wife, Kelly, in Turkey. She was in the military too. Had 3 kids while we were in the military. Got out after 12 years and had 1 more kid. Moved back to my wife's hometown and started working in the automotive industry. Started working on the production floor and moved up the management chain pretty quickly. Thanks to my military experience. Started coaching my kids in basketball. We have 3 girls and 1 boy. The boy being the youngest. Trying to get them to use their experiences in basketball in their normal life. Basketball can be frustrating and how you cope with that is how you will be successful at it. They are doing great and we hope to win a state championship in the next couple years for the girls team and then we have a few years before the boys get their chance.
