It is not difficult for me to have this faith, for it is incontrovertible that where there is a plan there is intelligence. An orderly, unfolding universe testifies to the truth of the most majestic statement ever uttered, "In the beginning, God createdâ¦"

The birth of this website began in earnest from the death of another. Much like the challenge we face in each day, God blesses and provides by the Holy Scripture passage, âAshes to ashes, dust to dust.â[1] This passage is for us an allusion for what weâve faced over the last 2 years with the death of a father and in turn, the death of a dream. In returning to our life journey, mentally, spiritually and literally we have found hope and the simple idea to change this world we live inâone person at a time.
[1] From the English Burial Service. Adapted from the Biblical text ("In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.") Genesis 3:19 (King James Version).
Weâve broken down our ideas into 3 specific categories:
1.) Mid-Century Modern Mattersâby taking the Utopian idea of âdo no harmâ and incorporating the beautiful, the fun and youthful concepts of mid-century modern design into the 21st century. We urge our fellow citizens to utilize the post World War II ideals of a kinder, gentler âbaby-boomâ America into this modern world of cynicism and consumerism.
2.) Earth Mattersâby adopting the ideology of the worldâs brightest scientists and incorporating our faith-based biblical conservation ideas we believe it is our duty to reduce our carbon footprint on Godâs creation! âNo single solution can meet our society's future energy needs. The solution instead will come from a family of diverse energy technologies that share a common threadâthey do not deplete our natural resources or destroy our environment." -Union of Concerned Scientists-
3.) Faith Mattersâby living a Christ-led, faith-based spiritual life: Jesus Christ's Relationship to All of Creation: Creator, Sustainer, Reconciler and Lord "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. And He is the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything He might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through His blood, shed on the cross." Col. 1:15-20
A Prayer for a Courageous Soul - Your Daily Prayer - April 26
We have been given a remarkable gift through God and His redemption story. Not only have we received eternal life with our Creator, but we have received courage in Christ that will change the trajectory of our lives and the lives of those around us forever.
