'I Don't Want Christmas To End' Zach Williams Christmas Song
Zach Williams just released his first full-length Christmas album, and his title track ‘I Don’t Want Christmas To End’ is a warm, feel-good song that will get you in the holiday spirit!
The album was recorded at the legendary FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. FAME Studios is where artists like Aretha Franklin and Little Richard have recorded and is preserved in all its 1960’s rock glory. This was just the sound that Zach Williams wanted to capture on his Christmas album.
“We knew we wanted it to have a rock and roll edge, a southern rock feel. That’s when we got the idea to go down to Muscle Shoals,” said Zach. “We got down there and all the original gear is still there from the Sixties. The original rooms, the original console. Recording there really made the songs come alive even more than I thought it was going to.”
Many people shared their love for Zach’s new Christmas song on YouTube.
“I didn't want the song to end!” writes one person online after watching the video. “Thanks Zach, for giving me another favorite to look forward to! I can almost smell the Christmas cookies that I'll be baking as I listen.”
“God has given you such an amazing gift, thank you for sharing it with others,” comments another person.
According to his YouTube page, Zac Williams says that his music “comes from a place of humility and honesty as his songs are a direct reflection of God’s redemption in his life.” And his personal testimony of receiving freedom in the Lord is so beautifully reflected in his debut single ‘Chain Breaker’ that was released in 2016.
We hope that you were uplifted by Zach’s new song ‘I Don’t Want Christmas To End’ and it was able to warm your spirits today!
