Toddler Shows Kindness And Love To His Upset Baby Brother
A toddler showed love to his baby brother, who was upset and having a bit of a meltdown.
Children are some of life's biggest blessings. However, all parents know and understand that children are not perfect little angels 100 percent of the time. They all have their moments when their behavior is less than perfect. Every child throws massive tantrums at some point for one reason or another.
When children have their meltdowns, most parents quickly try to assess the situation. They want to find out what is causing the issue, resulting in poor behavior. Once that has been determined, parents will then decide what is the best course of action to respond to the upset child. This is where mom and dad will need to, you know, parent.
In an adorable clip posted on YouTube, it wasn't a mother or a father who responded to an upset child, but a toddler. The clip begins with the young man already upset. A woman, likely the child's mother, informs the upset baby boy that mom will make him some lunch and then gently places the child on the floor.
Seconds into the clip, the toddler wants to understand why his baby brother is behaving poorly.
"River, why are you mad?" the toddler asks the crying child.
The child continues crying, but the toddler is not deterred. He does not give up and continues trying to comfort the young man.
The toddler tells him he will promptly get Mom, which seems to calm the child down. Then he hurries over and sweetly touches the baby boy's cheek, telling him, "I promise."
As the toddler proceeds to get up to get his mother, he kisses the boy on the cheek.
By the end of the video, the baby is completely fine, having gotten over his meltdown. The two boys are playing together as happily as can be.
What an adorable moment between the two young men! Mom and Dad will likely cherish it forever.
Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."

A Prayer for Overcoming Doubt with Divine Assurance - Your Daily Prayer - September 19
One morning, in my study of 1 Thessalonians, I read these words from Paul in 5:1-11, lingering over our key verse, “But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.” As he often does, Paul reminds believers that they are soldiers in God’s army and must prepare and protect themselves for battle.
