Anne Wilson’s Stunning Live Performance of ‘Praying Woman’

Anne Wilson delivered a stunning live performance of her hit song “Praying Woman.” The popular and immensely talented Christian music singer’s powerful and moving rendition is one you do not want to miss. Check out the video to watch Anne’s spectacular performance.

Praying is, without a doubt, the most crucial thing any follower of Jesus Christ can do. Prayer is direct communication with God, the Creator of the universe. We do not need a mediator, a go-between or anything of that nature. We can take our worries, fears and requests to Him through prayer. How amazing is that?

Prayer is essential and necessary because it works; it’s powerful. In Matthew 21:22, Jesus says whatever we ask for in prayer will be ours if we simply have faith. So, understanding how powerful prayer is, having someone earnestly and constantly pray and reach out to God on our behalf is an invaluable gift—something that will impact your life in innumerable ways.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Anne Wilson performs her tune “Praying Woman.” However, before she gets to singing, she explains some of the background of the song she originally sang and recorded with Lainey Wilson, whom she describes as a “big sister.”

“We got to work on this song together,” Anne said. “We were sitting down; this was our first time writing together, and we were talking about how we were raised in a Christian home. We were raised to love God and country. And we kind of had this, this thing in common about our moms, and just the incredible moms they’ve been in our lives. And we’re so grateful for how they’ve always gotten on their knees and prayed for the things that they wanted to see in life and prayed for their spouses and their children.”

Later in the clip, Anne revealed that her mother was in the audience. She dedicated the performance to her mother and all the mothers in the audience who do so much for their families.

At the end of her powerful and moving acoustic performance, the audience responds with a hearty round of applause.

Philippians 4:6 “Have no cares; but in everything with prayer and praise put your requests before God.”
