'Just A Little Talk With Jesus' The Statler Brothers

The four men of The Statler Brothers lead us in worship with the beloved hymn ‘Just A Little Talk With Jesus.’

As you hear these iconic words, be reminded that God is always by your side.

“I once was lost in sin but Jesus took me in
And then a little light from Heaven filled my soul
He bathed my heart in love and wrote my name above
And just a little talk with Jesus made me whole”

The Statler Brothers formed in 1955 and continued to play music until their retirement in 2002. Throughout the years, these talented men have gives us hits such as ‘Flowers On The Wall’ and ‘Do You Know You Are My Sunshine?’

Today, we’re looking back at one of their most popular performances of the classic hymn ‘Just A Little Talk With Jesus.’

“Now let us have a little talk with Jesus
Let us tell Him all about our troubles
He will hear our faintest cry and we will answer by and by
Now when you feel a little prayer wheel turning
You'll know a little fire is burning
You will find a little talk with Jesus makes it right”

Through the good times and the bad, God continues to walk with us each step of the way. Hand Him your worries and put your trust in His Name.

Psalm 37:4-6 “Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.”
