Young Singer Brings Tears To The Judge’s Eyes With ‘You Raise Me Up’ On The Voice
One young woman’s beautiful rendition of a song made famous by superstar Josh Groban caused one of the judges on The Voice to get emotional.
Winning at anything means constantly bringing your best and raising your game to meet and exceed expectations. That statement is true for those participating in athletic competitions, spelling bees and even competitive singing television programs. One false move or missed note could be the difference between winning or losing, staying or being sent home.
Carlotta Bach, a young woman competing on The Voice of Germany, made quite an impression on the judges and the studio audience with her performance of “You Raise Me Up.” It was a terrific vocal performance and literally brought tears to the eyes of one judge.
Carlotta appears slightly nervous but does not sound frazzled in the slightest. Instead, she gives a pitch-perfect performance from beginning to end. She sounds like someone who has been gracing stages for decades, playing to sold-out crowds regularly.
Also, at about the 1-minute mark of the clip, Carlotta has even brought tears to the eyes of a judge. One judge shifts in his seat and leans forward. As he does move, it appears that both of his eyes have started to well up with tears.
At the end of her performance, that same judge who became emotional stands up and excitedly exclaims, “Yes!”
The young woman gave a dazzling performance that left the judges on their feet, giving her a standing ovation. Similarly, the studio audience exploded with a thunderous round of applause and cheers.
It remains unclear if Carlotta will win the competition or not. But the fact that the young woman can sing and has a ton of God-given talent is abundantly clear to anyone with a working set of ears.
Ephesians 5:19 “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;”
