After Daughter Gets Every Top Answer, Steve Harvey Is Nervous For Mom’s Turn

One young woman’s excellent performance on Family Feud put pressure on her mother and had host Steve Harvey sweating it out for mom.

The 24-hour cable news channels, several prominent websites and social media would lead one to believe Americans are divided deeply on every single issue. That is not the case. Most Americans are entirely civil to one another, able to find common ground in different areas.

Americans have similar thoughts and feelings on a variety of subjects and situations. The popular game show Family Feud is an indicator, even if it’s a small one, that people in the United States do think and feel alike.

One young woman appears to think very much like the average American. She gave Steve the top answer for every question. She did so well that she ended up banking 193 points out of the 200 needed to take home the $20,000 grand prize.

The young woman made her mom’s job very easy. She only needed to get 7 more points. Nothing could go wrong, right?

Well, Steve was more than a little nervous for mom. He explained the situation to Mary Anne, breaking it down with good news and bad news.

“The bad news is there’s a possibility that they will disown you as their mother,” Steve said

He also told her about the good part of her situation.

“Well, you’re gonna love this news right here,” Steve said. “Courtney got a 193 points. You need 7, 7, 7 points.”

After Steve’s information, mom knew that if she and her family did not win the money, the loss was totally on her. Mom was feeling the pressure at this point.

A few seconds later, Steve asks Mary Anne the same five questions her daughter, Courtney, had just answered. Given that mom duplicated a few of her daughter’s answers and even passed and didn’t give an answer to one question, that 200-point mark seemed to be in jeopardy.

Luckily though, mom comes through, and her first answer gives the family more than enough. The family crosses the 200-point threshold and wins the money!
