CHURCH OF JOY

Here's a little bit about myself: I am a Christian, sold out to Christ, a woman who thrives to be all God created me to be. I am married to my bestfriend, Jeremiah. We have been married for 6 & 1/2 years. We have 4 crazy, drive us insane at times, beautiful kids. Danyelle is 13, my twin boys, Caleb & Joshua, are 11, and Josiah is 5. I am a stay at home mom and I also homeschool my kids. It's challenging at times, but so worth it! I ♥ photography & I am a photographer! I ♥ writing and hope to be a Christian fiction novel author one day. I ♥ my church and my church family. I go to the best church ever, The Church of Joy, and I sing on the praise team :) Which brings me to say, I ♥ singing (just ask my husband who has to hear me all the time!! He's so lucky ;). I ♥ COFFEE with flavored creamer....umm, peppermint mocha & coconut cream!! I ♥ hanging out with my best friend, Tana. We are crazy poindexters (inside joke). I ♥ hanging out with my mom on our girl's night out. She's my bestfriend too. I ♥ animals & ♥ rescuing them (I just wished my husband would love it too when I do bring home a stray/abandon animal ;) I ♥ the color aqua and you can tell when you walk into my house! I ♥ sitting outside on my back porch at night watching the stars with a cup of coffee. I ♥ life. I ♥ being silly. I ♥ to make people laugh. I ♥ being funny (it comes natural) I ♥ smiling at folks! Some would say I am a flirt, but it's really my personality- I'm just a smiley, happy, giggly person :) Life is short, so smile alot, love God with all your heart, really love others, and live in a way that brings glory to God :)

Today's Devotional

A Prayer for Vacation Rest - Your Daily Prayer - May 26

As you head into your vacation, try to leave your worries about home and work behind on purpose. If anxious thoughts follow you into your vacation, don’t panic or get frustrated with yourself. Just pray about all of your concerns, trust God to help you with them, and return your focus to the present moment.
