Former 911 supervisor and after 15 years in Law Enforcment/Emergency Services I was diganosed with MS. I grew up in a small baptist church near my childhood home. After getting married in 1995 I thought I was too busy for church ( I worked all hours and weekends) I divorced in 2001 and got re-married to my current husband in 2002. I have 2 sons ages 9 and 5. In 2007 my father inlaw was diganosed with cancer and ttold my husband his biggest regreat was not attend church with him. Steve had been active in church in his teens but could not get his family to attend with him. Gary then made Steve promise to try church again and with in 2 weeks my 9yo was baptised and it was at that baptising my husband asked the pastor for a moment of his time......and 2 weeks later Steve was baptised. We them joined Shiloh Baptist as a family..it was a little bigger than my home church but just friendly, Steve began playing guitar again ( something he had not done outside of our home since we were married) but this time he played at church. I then felt led to assume the responciblity of on the church website which in effect led me hear. I hope this makes sence. If it doesn't feel free to email me and I'll answer any questions you might have about me or my church

Today's Devotional
A Prayer for Self-Examination - Your Daily Prayer - May 30
The disciple James talks about looking into a mirror to see our faces. When we see that our face is dirty, yet walk away and forget to clean it, we deceive ourselves. This isn’t what God wants.
