Scott Aitken Bio: Singer Songwriter/ Music Producer
Scott Aitken is a multi-talented musician and artist, he was born and raised in south florida were he was influenced by the sounds of 90’s alternative rock and reggae/acoustic rock. Scott’s father introduced him to the drums and piano at a young age but as soon as his brother brought him a guitar he found in a trash can he began to gravitate towards singing and writing songs on the guitar. During high school Scott recorded and produced his first solo record "Casting Lots” he after graduating from William T. Dwyer High School in 2004 and found himself at a crossroad between continuing at community college or pursuing his interest in the art of writing, recording and producing music. Knowing that he had much to learn about the music industry he enrolled at full sail university. During his time at full sail Scott and his best friend/ room mate/ Bassist, Emmanuel Stephen recorded a new record “The Greatest Secret" as the band "Leap of Faith" after Graduating in 2006 they put together and headlined a sold out homecoming concert that featured Audrey Assad, Raw Servant and Proverb. As a band they played countless shows ranging from Shout Fest/ Cornerstone festivals to touring as the house band for Alive in You 2007-2010. Leap of Faith later disbanded as Emmanuel Stephen fulfilled his calling to join the army. Scott started and run his own recording studio sacred heart production studios from 2010-2014 where he recorded and produced many artist during this time he also drummed and co-produced for the band “Making Faces” for their album “Bright Roads Ahead”. Life moved him and his family from south florida to TN after the move Scott began to record and produce his first solo record in almost 10 years, his album “Wide Awake” by Scott Aitken was released Jan 1, 2015. He now focuses his time on writing and producing for his solo career and select group of artists as well as performing live.
