Born in Benin City, Nigeria 47 years ago, Rev. Johnny Omede attended St. Angelas Primary School, Siloko Grammar School, University of Benin, The London Royal School of Music, the London School of International Marketing, London University and All Nations for Christ Bible Institute, under the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa of the Church of God Mission. He also did vocational training in the United States in the 90s.
Rev. Omede got saved in 1974 through the evangelistic meetings of Dr. T.L. Osborn, in Benin City, Nigeria. Rev. Omede is married to Eve Omede for twenty years; together they have four children, Efosa, Abigail, Gosa and Praise.
Rev. Omede spent over two decades in both England and the United States of America where he founded Household of Faith Christian Centre Worldwide. He is the Founder and President of the organization Teach me how to fish. The aim is to reach and train the poor and the disadvantaged how to become self sufficient.
Rev. Omede is also a renowned Gospel musician with a couple of albums to his credit, and has just released his new CD that is already having an impact on the Christian community worldwide. This is truly a first of its kind Gospel release, infusing African harmonies, Reggae rhythms and heartfelt, heavenly lyrics. In fact, the album is entitled, First of Its Kind. that should be added to everyones collection of music.
