Kristen and her sister Bethany (who joined us on the podcast last year in Episode 167) have authored several books including the one we talk with Kristen about today, Not Part of the Plan: Trusting God with the twists and turns of your story.

During our conversation, Kristen shares about her struggle with infertility and the process of praying through endless disappointments. She talks about the importance of community, and how God actually used her unanswered prayers for a biological baby to launch her and her husband forward into the journey of adopting brothers from Ukraine.
