“Hardly anyone knows this…but I’m really quite famous.?
That’s right! I’ve performed in just about every state in the U.S., a recording artist, nominated for a Dove Award, won a nationwide Christian talent contest, published a children’s book and dozens of humorous articles in newspapers and magazines, and ate an asparagus (it was an accident). My “Ed"ertainment concerts are usually solo events, but I’ve also had the great pleasure of sharing the stage with Phillips, Craig & Dean, 4Him, Bryan Duncan and Bob Carlisle (of “Butterfly Kisses? fame)—who never got used to being my “follow-up? act.
To my wife’s chagrin, I’m often remembered for my infamous solo trumpet duet number—with myself—which has now been downloaded on YouTube, Google Video, etc. over a million combined times. I also have the great joy of working with my Dad at the ministry of LOGOI—a mission organization he founded some 40 years ago focused on helping national Spanish pastors become effective ministers of the Gospel.
I’m the very proud dad of three extremely active, athletic, and good-looking kids. I’ve been married over 21 years to my amazing Vermont bride, Jennifer (we met at Wheaton College) who, to my great relief, has been able to help the kids with their algebra homework. We live in Miami, FL with a dog, a cat who ran away, and a hermit crab living somewhere underneath our kitchen sink.
