Christ's People United: A simple phrase to describe who we are and who we are becoming. We are United: for His glory and His kingdom.In Isaiah 61, it is prophesied that the Spirit of the Sovereign Lord will anoint people to bring forth the message of redemption to all. The poor, the brokenhearted, the captives, the prisoners, the mourners: these are all mentioned in the prophesy of Isaiah 61. In this, we plainly see that God has not forgotten us. And as such, we are being sent out to make sure that every ear has heard the news: You are not forgotten!God has united, and continues to unite, young people -and indeed all people- under the banner of Isaiah 61. This particular part of Scripture can be found in the mission statements of many recent faith movements. It seems that the Spirit of the Lord has been whispering the same call into the hearts of many, and so we have begun to take heed to the whispers. We, with similar inner longings for revival, are beginning to conspire together.
