Acoustic 'His Name Is Jesus' Performed By Singer Chris Rupp

Christian singer Chris Rupp recently released a new music video of him performing an acoustic version of 'His Name Is Jesus' by Pam Schultze. The scene is set in a beautiful old cathedral.

The song begins with a man playing the guitar, then a violinist joins him and lead singer Chris Rupp. As all three of them perform, a woman dances to a lyrical routine in the very front of the church. Chris Rupp continues to belt out the convicting lyrics in the most incredible way. His God-given vocal talent always seems to get more impressive each time he performs.

The way he keeps rhythm and sings with almost no instruments is remarkable. This convicting worship song reminds all of us to fix our eyes on Jesus no matter what we're facing. Whatever you're going through, use this song as a prayer to your Lord and Savior.

Sometimes, sending up a few words can dramatically change the outcome of your day. Trusting in the Lord can take any negative situation you're facing and turn it into a positive one. Always remember that your ability to be joyful in all circumstances is a direct reflection of how much you truly believe the gospel.

Life gets hard from time to time but during those seasons relying on Jesus brings immense peace and comfort. Thank you, Chris Rupp, for performing this beautiful song so all of us could be reminded of how awesome our God truly is. What a blessing it is to hear these words during the busy holiday season!

A Prayer for Dealing with Family Rejection This Holiday Season - Your Daily Prayer - December 5

One of the best times of the year can also be one of the most difficult. Harvest décor leads into Christmas bells and lights. We fill the calendar slots with parties and events. This can create a low-level hum of anxiety if the upcoming family get-togethers feel like a risky walk through a minefield.
