A native Californian, Worship Pastor Avery Stafford has recorded six albums since breaking into the music scene; with RnB, Gospel, and Contemporary Urban flavors. He was a two-time nominee for the 2006 Los Angeles Music Awards. His music peaked at #1 in the RnB/Soul category on ReverbNation. He is also ranked #10 in the RnB category on IndieCharts.com.
Avery’s brand new album, End Of Five, is his sixth recording and his most anticipated to date. Soul Tracks lists End Of Five as one of “...the most notable upcoming CD releases in the Soul Music world.” It is a new venture for this independent Gospel artist, because Avery has chosen to categorize the album as a RnB/Gospel album. The first single “Everyday” was released in the UK in July 2010 and was featured by Landmark Theatres in their Pre-Movie segment. There are eleven (11) original songs contained on the new project. EO5 was produced by saxophonist Eddie M. (Sheila E., Prince, and many others) and Gospel music legend Jon Gibson (9 Number 1 Hits, 22 Top Five Hits, CCM Magazine Album of the Year). World-wide release date is April 8, 2012 and will be distributed by The Orchard.
Stafford is a two-time nominee for the 2006 Los Angeles International Music Awards. He is the March 2007 Winner and the December 2007 Runner Up (Christian category) in the Song of the Year International Songwriting Competition, sponsoring VH-1 Save The Music. He is also the 2008 Pure Gospo Awards “Best Solo Artist.” In 2009, Avery received an Honorable Mention in the prestigious Billboard World Song Contest. He is endorsed by Audix Microphones and Spectraflex Cables.
A Prayer When a Situation Seems Impossible - Your Daily Prayer - April 24
My wife has recently painted these words on a wall in our house as a reminder to us both: “Mightier than the waves of the sea, is His love for us!” (Inspired by Psalm 93:4). Please remember this. Mightier than the tempest you are facing is His love for you!
