Alec Sprinkle one of her friends said that shes being bullied and is only 12, but then again why would u choice this song?

Lauren May Because it's an awful song. Whether it's for faith or for secular life (Which includes much more than drugs, sex etc.) if a song is bad, making a remix of it that is just as bad is not attacking someone's faith. It's stating an opinion of musical talent. All because the reason behind something is religion, doesn't make it good quality wise.

religious.. BAh.. i hope that she is sardastic. when shes talking about god

Moriah Morgan Like I said, if you think this is only about the glorification of god and not about making money or pushing an agenda that ignores major issues that are really affecting the world and the church, then you are naive. @Lauren May, when did I say she should make a song about things against her values? I didn't. However, I doubt she wrote, produced or contributed anything to the song other than being in the video and singing. This is an obvious continued manipulation of youth for the interests of adults to make money, whether for religion, politics, or pop culture. You assume when someone critiques something like this it is anti-christian. In fact, it's an utmost defense of it in its purest form, a la Matthew 21:12

C Conrad not understanding the reason for this post...would we rather young children write a song about drugs, sex and alcohol or about going to Church to serve God?!? I am confused on why there is a complaint at all about this song.....

this is an awesome song, what a great way to turn a song around to represent God ! This little girl has talent and she is definitely using it in the right way.

Moriah Morgan addressing an issue of this would be an issue Jesus would address, not just going to Church http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Faje.me%2Fw75Voz&h=PAQGGrXP_AQHfxOhb_5szsxRvQ4X-B5uH98GEx_W-GKHVsw

Moriah Morgan If you think she wrote and produced this with no coaxing from someone who has interest in making money from it you are quite naive

Moriah Morgan There are ways to make your point, not ripping off pop-culture

I hate to break it to you, but this was not a good idea.

I hope you realize that Friday was awful, (labeled as the worst song ever) so to emulate that song makes this even worse. Good job making people take your cause even less seriously than ever.

Ruby i guessing you never seen the song "Baby got book"... it's a remake of a secular song made into a very good Christian song. so you are in fact wrong saying you cant turn secular music into Christian worship music

  • 2011-06-30T08:40:19

No. You can't turn anything secular as a way to worship God. Nothing. Especially NOT this video

  • 2011-06-01T15:57:11

this is actually a whole lot better then th friday song :D
