Sean Carter's Video Channel
Over a decade ago, Sean Carter was overwhelmed with the desire to create. He has a raw and unique way to convey story, passion, truth, and struggle through music, lyric, and soundscape. He has a “nothing's off the table” approach to melody, and musical texture using an eclectic mix of vintage and modern instruments to take listeners on a creative journey. The upcoming album, The Telling leads the listener through a spiritual narrative of questioning and responding, confessing, glorifying the mystery of God, wrestling through life's circumstances, and holding the Creator in genuine highest regard.
Sean has been leading worship in the local church for the span of his musical career including 3 years at a church plant, 3 years as worship leader for The Porch, a Dallas gathering of young professionals at Watermark Community Church, and 4 years as worship leader of EPOCH an artistic venue of Chase Oaks Church Plano, Texas. Currently Sean resides in Rockwall, Texas with his wife Christi and daughter Vail.

Passion Song (A Song For Easter)
By Sean Carter/Tyler Ellison CCLI# 6456076
I was with Him when He rode into town,
And crowds gathered 'round Him like a king.
Their smiling faces joined a sea of branches waving,
Though, they were masquerading in the end.
And my heart rose in my throat when I heard them sing,
"Hosanna, in the highest"
We went upstairs, broke the bread and drank the wine
From the only living vine that we would taste.
And I watch them take Him up the mountainside
Where He was crucified though innocent.
And they mocked Him, and cursed Him with their mouths
And told Him to "come down" if He was God.
And my heart broke in my chest when I heard Him say
"Forgive them, it is finished"
And I remember in the garden when He sweat like drops of blood
And how he begged the Father just to let Him pass the cup
And I can still feel the anguish when they pierced Him in the side
And how the ground beneath us shook upon the very moment that He died
Three days later we found an empty grave
and the stone was rolled away where He had been
Tears of joy streamed down my face for the angel said
"Oh fear not, He is risen"
