Originally from Charlotte NC, Xodus the Soul Searcher began rapping for God around 1998, during the time when the genre was still under scrutiny by the Church. Determined that he understood the call of God on his life, he continued pressing despite the condemnation he faced. Xodus the Soul Searcher is not a rapper, he considers himself a minister of the Gospel first who happens to rap. He loves to encourage the youth and help them understand that being a believer is not based on ritual and religion, but it is about FAITH and RELATIONSHIP with God the father through Christ. Xodus the Soul Searcher has been set apart and refuses to compromise his lyrics, style and ministry as a whole for popularity. He is determined to saturate his tracks with truth and scripture. In some of his tracks it is evident there is a righteous indignation that burns deep inside as he seeks to save souls. Listen and you will hear a message of hope, a call to repentance and a reminder that God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, yet each person has to make a choice to hear and obey or reject the Lord.
