Those of us with fur babies probably understand what it’s like to have a conversation with an animal, even when we have no idea what they could possibly be saying. Sometimes that’s the best part.

You could make up plenty of stories about what these feisty felines argued about, maybe even add human voices over their mouths moving. But nothing would be as funny as the sounds these cats make. Just listen!

The orange kitty, named Simon, seemed to be making a lower and incredibly intimidating, growl-like noise. Kuzya’s (gray cat) noises sound a little more like yelling. Definitely higher. Both are very dramatic and amusing. You can even hear when the conversation gets more heated.

I’m sure no cats were harmed. The confrontation didn’t seem to escalate to physical violence. Since they’re both male cats, they were probably hashing things out about where one’s territory ended and the other’s began. Goofy guys!

That’s another part that makes the clip so funny — the two could definitely wack each other standing that close, but they chose not to. I guess they opted for an intense staring contest with trash-talking. Seriously, just look at how close they are!

Hopefully, they sorted things out. They do have to continue living next to each other!
