Redeemed Quartet Powerful ‘Because He Lives’ Cover

Listen to this powerful cover of the song ‘Because He Lives’ from Redeemed Quartet. Bill and Gloria Gaither's beautiful song has been an encouragement for people for many decades, and this rendition is just wonderful!

‘God sent His son, they called Him, Jesus;
He came to love, heal and forgive;
He lived and died to buy my pardon,
An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives!’

Redeemed Quartet is a Southern Gospel Quartet made up of four best friends and brothers. They use their music to bring hope and encouragement to young and old alike. In this music video, the Redeemed Quartet does a great job singing all the different parts of the song and blending their voices together. Many people online shared how much they admire the group and their music.

“I am always amazed at what a fantastic quartet you guys are! Your singing is always a blessing to listen to,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the music video.

“So proud of you guys and what you represent. Keep singing for the Lord!” another person writes online.

When it comes to the hymn 'Because He Lives,’ the words and music were penned by Bill and Gloria Gaither. To date, the married couple have written more than 700 songs, produced 60 recordings, and several musicals. And both of them are authors or co-authors of several books.

But one of the most popular songs they have ever written is this one, ‘Because He Lives.’ The song starts off with a reminder that Christ came down to this earth, and the purpose for His coming was that we might be able to face tomorrow with all of the uncertainty that it brings. We are also reminded through the lyrics in the hymn that God holds our future in his hands, and this life is worth living because we put our trust and hope in Him.

We hope that you enjoyed this wonderful rendition of the hymn ‘Because He Lives’ today!
