Adorable Siblings Explain How Jesus Helps Farmers
Two adorable siblings – a little boy and a girl – explain how Jesus helps farmers with their crops in the field.
Farming is a challenging, stressful occupation. A successful and abundant harvest requires a lot of time, planning, knowledge and a large amount of work. One can’t simply wake up one day, decide to be a farmer, and start planting some random crop, hoping that it will come up on its own several months later.
Farmers are incredibly familiar with the land. They know the suitable crops to plant and how and when to harvest them. But even with all that knowledge and expertise in mass food production, things may turn out differently than expected. Unexpected weather conditions and changes could drastically impact that season’s harvest.
For instance, a prolonged drought could prove disastrous for farmers and their crop yields. A short but sweet clip shows two youngsters who know how important rain is to farmers. They also understand that an individual is responsible for sending the rain farmers desperately need for their fields.
“You know what?” the young man in the clip says. “The corn and bean and wheat dies without water. I can see the beans when we on the tractor. They’re getting deep in the ground, that means they’re dying. Means they need some water.”
Later in the clip, the young man says that Jesus can hear them talking, and He knows that they need rain for the crops.
At this point in the clip, the little girl comments on how Jesus provides water for the fields.
“Jesus make it rain,” she says.
“Yep, and that’s the only person who can make it rain,” the boy adds.
“And God can make it rain, too,” the precious little girl states.
What an unbelievably sweet conversation and memorable moment.
Leviticus 26:4 “Then I will give you rain at the right time, and the land will give her increase and the trees of the field will give their fruit;”
