An elderly woman and a deer shared an unbelievable and heartwarming moment. The interaction resembles something from a movie, television show or fairytale. You have to check out this video, which captures the surprising and sweet moment.

Most people love and adore animals. How can you not at least have a soft spot in your heart for those creatures? Most of them are incredibly sweet and loyal and just want someone to love and treat them right. Show a dog or cat a little attention and kindness, and you’ll likely have a friend for life.

However, not all animals are as welcoming and open to human attention. Domesticated animals like dogs, cats, rabbits and even some birds enjoy a human’s touch and kindness. Of course, those who live in the wild are much more suspicious and on edge when humans are around. Even seeing a human from a distance is enough to cause some critters to scatter and run off to find what they believe to be a safer area.

Deer are some of the most skittish and easily frightened animals. Even the slightest movement will send a deer sprinting in the other direction. Well, a video posted on social media captured a deer literally walking up to an elderly woman’s front door.

The video begins with the woman standing outside on her front porch as a deer slowly approaches her. The woman gestures toward the animal and even speaks to her wildlife visitor. The deer does not appear to be frightened in the slightest, although it does maintain some space between them – staying a few feet away from her.

According to the video's text, the woman who captured the interaction was out on her nightly walk through her neighborhood when she spotted the woman and the deer.

The text at the top of the screen reads, “I felt like I was watching snow white.” That is a perfect way to describe that unbelievable moment.
