Choir Sings 'Down To The River To Pray' On Hotel Balcony
“As I went down in the river to pray
Studying about that good old way
And who shall wear the starry crown
Good Lord, show me the way!”
The Colorado All State Choir is comprised of high school students from the entire state. These students truly have a gift for singing and performing and, today, that is on display in the most incredible way. Just watch as the students of the treble ensemble gather outside of their hotel rooms and stand around the open balcony. As far up as you can see, the choir gathers on each floor and starts to sing a cappella. And when they belt out the iconic words of ‘Down To The River To Pray,’ I was in awe.
“O sisters, let's go down,
Let's go down, come on down
O sisters, let's go down
Down in the river to pray”
This talented group of students definitely knows how to put on a show and wow the audience. Despite being from all over the state, these singers all came together for this special performance and it's touching people all over the country. This a cappella performance has been viewed over 7 million times on social media. And one listen to these talented voices and you'll understand exactly why!

If you've walked through losing a friendship, I see you. I know it is painful and, at times question, provoking. But, let Jesus in that space.
