First off, I'm a lover of Jesus Christ! I'm also a wife and mom and love both roles. I truly love my hubby and my 2 girls and can't imagine anything better!! I think they're the greatest and I'm the luckiest woman alive. I love being a helpmate to my husband, Izreal, as we pursue what God has called us to do. Ministering with him is an amazing priviledge.
I love working with kids and am blessed to get to do so everyday. I am in the process of writing an inspirational/testimonial book for young women. I hope to one day write inspirational fiction books and curriculum related to character education and diversity.
I just recently discovered that I really LOVE working out. I LOVE pushing heavy weights in the gym and seeing my muscles GROW - it's such an empowering feeling! I recently competed in my first figure competition - March 2007. My goal is to continue to outdo the naysayers.
ON THE BUSINESS SIDE - I am an inspirational and motivational speaker and educational consultant. I conduct education workshops on topics such as: education and equity, diversity, working with special populations, and leadership. In ministry, I have been asked to speak on the following: Supporting your spouse in the music industry, Positioning yourself to fulfill your purpose, Being separate, unique and whole, Strategies for success, etc. Most often though, I share my testimony with teens and adults to encourage and inspire them in their walk of faith.
My husband, Izreal, is a Gospel Hip Hop artist. He has toured all over the country ministering to teens and young adults, inside and outside of the church. He was featured on the Grammy nominated album, Holy Hip Hop vol. 1 and has released 3 independent projects, "The Focus", "The Standard" and "Izreality TV". His website is: www.myspace.com/izfocused.
It is an awesome experience being partners in marriage and in ministry.
A Prayer to Help You Comfort Others - Your Daily Prayer - April 25
Have you ever wondered if there is any purpose in your suffering? We certainly don’t go looking for suffering—it comes to us because life is a journey through difficulties and triumphs. Sufferings are a reminder of what Jesus Christ went through and it is a way for us to encourage others.
