Callers present strong arguments on both sides of the question.  In Deuteronomy, Moses tells the Israelites not to hate an Egyptian “for you were a stranger in his land.” The Israelites were subject to a terrible form of slavery. The Egyptians threw Hebrew male babies into the Nile at the command of the Pharaoh. What is the Bible telling us here? Is this advice applicable to today?
