Have you ever thought you would play in the NFL, be a professional bodybuilder, then train mostly sports athletes like I thought that I would? Being a student-athlete led me to believe that my calling had me deeply engrossed in athletics, as a leader in business, and in life. I could not have been more wrong! Scripture says, “Enter through the narrow gate…but narrow is the gate and small is road that leads to life, but only a few find it.” -Matthew 7:13-14 Just because 1.6% of college football players play in the NFL, did not mean I would be one of them. Yes, it is a narrow gate, but clearly it was not my path. God has bigger plans for me. Unsure about your calling? Here is a hint. It’s not about you. It’s about us! It took me years to understand this. And it is never too late! I am Billy Yancey. God is THE GOAT!
