The 21st century is a fast-paced, "stand still and it will pass you by" kind of world. Every time we look up, there is something new, something faster, something "better". Through this constant struggle with changing technology and shifting moral center, we need something to cling to that will give us stability, comfort, and hope. We at the Orleans Christian Church want to share with you the Rock to which we cling. We cling for stability to our unchanging God. Though the world's culture changes and the church's programs of outreach change to meet that culture, the truth that God loves us and cares for us and desires to save us does not ever change. And it brings us comfort to know that no matter what might happen around us, God will always be there. And this also brings us hope. Hope of a future where God already knows the path, and where He will walk with us, guiding, leading, and someday calling us to a home with Him.
The Orleans Christian Church is not part of a large organization. We do not have any headquarters or council to which we answer. The Bible is our only guide to the answers of life, and a local group of men, called Elders, are our only leaders. We are an independent church, and we call ourselves by no specific name other than that of Christian. We are not perfect in our approach, but we do try to provide services that are exciting and inviting, as well as worshipful and inspirational. We want to provide programming that will be beneficial to you and your family, teaching you how to be a stronger, happier family in Christ.
