Two-Time GRAMMY Nominee Blessing Offor Releases New Single 'The Morning'

Two-time Grammy Award© nominee Blessing Offor continues his year of new music with his reflective and uplifting new single “The Morning.” Written with Rita Springer and Dan Muckala, “The Morning” infuses R&B and Gospel to capture Blessing’s optimistic and relatable spirit even in the darkest of moments with the reassurance that despite troubled times the sun will still rise and bring new opportunities.

“Everybody loves a good story,” shares Blessing. “Especially the ones that make us feel not so alone. This song wasn’t so much written as much as it presented itself. Sitting with my cowriter Rita, we shared life stories, shared frustrations, and while we came from such different places, the stories, the feelings were all too similar. Sometimes just seeing ourselves in someone else’s story, knowing that someone else made it through, can be exactly what we need. No one likes facing the hard things in life, but inevitably – eventually – tomorrow comes and we find that the sun does rise. I hope ‘The Morning’ is a song that helps others realize they are not alone

Later this month, Blessing will perform at Today’s Jenna Bush Hager’s inaugural “Read with Jenna Book Festival” in Nashville. He will then perform at CMA Fest on June 8th, debuting some new music.
