Stephanie Staples Releases New Single 'Humble Heart'

Singer-songwriter Stephanie Staples has released her new single “Humble Heart”—a soothing song of restoration and surrender—now available on all digital platforms. Produced by Grammy Award winner Mitch Dane with string arrangements by Caitlin Anselmo, the song features a talented ensemble of musicians including Nathan Dugger, James Gregory, Paul Eckberg, Caitlin Anselmo, David Davidson, David Angell, Austin Hoke, and Betsy Lamb.

Written years ago and rooted in Isaiah 66:2 and Psalm 51, “Humble Heart” reflects the cry for forgiveness, mercy, and renewal that only God can provide. “The most wonderful thing about the gospel—the good news—is that we are not responsible for saving or changing ourselves,” says Staples. “Even if we have failed in the most miserable way, God’s promise of forgiveness and the gift of a new heart are always available.
