GRAMMY-nominated Blessing Offor Releases Title Track From Upcoming Album 'Real'

Two-time GRAMMY Nominee Blessing Offor has released the title track for his new album, Real, which will be released August 8th. The song, co-written with Hank Bentley (Crowder, Brandon Lake), embodies a sense of gratitude for an honest, genuine love with a focus on Blessing’s vocals backed by light guitar and piano. “Real” follows the release of “Lift Me Up” and “The Morning” earlier this year.

“’Real’ is about that person that makes everything around them look like a black-and-white television show,” shares Blessing. “They are so thoroughly themselves that you almost have to ask them how they can be so real in the middle of so much fake in the world. That person deserves a song, and this is it.”

Real is the second studio album from Blessing and follows the incredible success of his GRAMMY Nominated debut album My Tribe (2023). In that time, Blessing has endured loss and heartache while also growing into himself as an artist. The 16 songs on Real see Blessing at his most authentic and vulnerable, sharing the highs and lows of his life over the last few years, while infusing influences from folk and afro-pop to country, pop, and soul.
