Mary Lingerfelt has worked as a small town reporter, an industrial spy, an editor for The Salvation Army, and a burger flipper for McDonald's (where she lasted a week.) She is a huge fan of J.R.R. Tolkien, Georgette Heyer, Jane Austen, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
She is a night owl and usually doesn't get to bed before 2 a.m. She runs on tea and chocolate. She lives with one cat of royal blood and dozens of very sociable characters, all of whom like to talk to her at inappropriate times.
Her goal for her novels is that they should be fun reads; but more than that, she hopes that they portray the beauty and satisfaction of a life lived in friendship with God. She is the author of the Amish romance series, A Lancaster Love, the Christian Contemporary romance, True North, and the historical fiction novella, The Sins of Jubal Cooper.
