Liquid Bible study short films with pastor commentary translate ancient stories into present-day, everyday life and help you discover the truth. Each emotionally charged short film presents a story of modern characters with real challenges and opportunities that mirror the same ones found in stories of the Bible. Each short film is followed by insight to help you get the most out of God’s Word.
Liquid stories are modeled after the master storyteller, Jesus. He taught the truth in way that entertained and captivated, and then motivated people to investigate, think and learn. There was often a metaphor in his stories for us to discover. Through discovery of the metaphors, the lessons move from merely inspiring to becoming internalized and relevant to our lives.
Liquid stories include characters similar to the people you find in your everyday life: people you know or observe at the neighborhood Starbucks®, shopping in the boutique on the promenade, shopping at Target®, dancing in the trendiest nightclubs, the friends you have over to watch the game and see stuck in traffic on the freeway. They are people who live a life that you will recognize. You can identify with their struggles. You will draw your own conclusions and be equipped to satisfy your thirst for God’s word to flow through your life.
The Liquid Bible study short film series includes DVDs, small group leader guides and personal handbooks. Each DVD focuses on a singular theme and consists of five short films based on different Biblical lessons; typically each short is 10 minutes in length. The DVD package includes the small group leader’s guide and a personal handbook. Liquid is primarily developed as small group curriculum, but may be used for individual Bible study as well or an outreach tool for those who have questions about God and the Bible.

Unshakable faith isn’t about having the “perfect” faith that never rattles us, but rather it comes with moments that may shake us, sometimes to the core of our being, and cause us to come before God in our weakness.
