Marty and her husband John live in Chesapeake, Virginia. They have two grown sons and two grandsons. In 2004 God ask Marty to organize the food pantry at the church she and her family had attended for more than twelve years at that time. The food pantry tripled in size over the next three years. In 2008, God ask that Marty write about how He had directed her to organize it so that others could benefit from the information. Today Marty is the food pantry liasion for the church she and her husband now attend and the hosting food pantry church.
