A Roman Catholic monk of the Benedictine monastery of Saint Meinrad Archabbey in southern Indiana, USA. For over 150 years our monks have been seeking God and serving the Church. Currently we operate a seminary for men preparing for priesthood, and for laypersons preparing for ministry in their parish.
I joined the monastery in August 2005 and made my first profession of vows in 2006 after living as a novice for a year and a day. Our life revolves around prayer, especially liturgical prayer in our church, and private prayer in our cells. We are engaged in a variety of works, including the seminary, the retreat house, Abbey Press religious gifts, and basic housework around the monastery.
