First and foremost I love Christ! I try to let God take my designs and help me, to see just how little my designs really matter in comparison to Truth and Spirit and the Love He died for on the tree. It seems to me, anything that gets in the way of Gods Grace is a false reality, and can do nothing but harm to my journey. I have to stay on top of my game, in order to maintain my peace. For me, Grace is the gift, but peace comes from living in a manner that reflects as much of Christ as I am capably of on a given day, some days are better then others.
Their really are people out there that Get It. (Praise God) "It" being the message given to us By Christ, and Scripture. Love for your Brothers and Sisters, but most of all Love God! Love, not judgment! Service to our Brothers, not intimidation and group efforts to control others and lead them to a second hand look at Jesus. After all the Bible is everywhere, Allis we have to do is open it up, and get it all first hand for ourselves right from God. How can we as Mortals become ready for A True Rebirth from this World to Spirit? Through Christ, but if we still look to the world to supply our feel goods?
This is just what is on my heart, and I can only speak for myself. I mean no disrespect here to anyone, again its just my view...I can't believe we can closer to The Lord by lip service, judgments, and finding new ways to circumvent Gods Word just to help our flesh get what it wants and or thinks it needs in this life. Its a bit hard for me to think Christ died such a violent death to help us sinners to use Him as a Spiritual order taker of some kind. I'm sad to see what a lot of us have looked toward, material pursuits in place of Gods Sovereignty and Salvation through Christ. Do we really think Christ smiles on this kind of treatment toward Him, toward ourselves, and our fellows that follow us in this new Faith only to be led down a second rate path to Glory. Our stiff necked manner of leaning away from The Holy Spirit and embracing "the world" and what it has to offer can only take us away from The Holy Spirit, and blind us to a lasting Blessing in Christ? Again its just my view on the matter.
2 years ago I lied in bed ill for 30 months. The doctors flooded my system with drugs that made me even sicker. When I didn't think I could take any more of this, I found myself being welcomed into a odd but Christ Powered Church, that within a year and a half I was back on my feet, and knee deep in Scripture. I was asked to Trust Christ...period! Scripture spoke to me of Love, and Spirit through Christ, not how to use Christ as a cosmic Goofer.
I spend a lot of time in the Bible. Paul's letters are a constant source of insight and Love for me. I think I could, and will, read these Letters for the rest of my life knowing the layers of consciousness will get deeper, and deeper as my Inner Child becomes matured, and more and more willing to except this reality of Christ on His terms, not mine. The trick is, for me to embrace God, and give credence to Christs Spirit and Love.
I had a lot of so called "good times" embracing the LIE, so I thought, but it did eventually show itself for what it was, A LIE. Today, I wake up every day feeling the Piece from Gods will, that is, when I'm not getting in the way looking to the world for its offerings. So the narrow path is a welcome one for this Man. Describe a little of your personality and character traits. (Are you funny, laid back, more serious, open, shy, etc.?)
Artistic, a bit eccentric, very Faith Filled, extremely loyal, I have somewhat of a hard edge, but I'm pretty much a softy when you really get to know me.
Describe your Christian faith. Where are you at and what are your goals? What Scripture verses are important to you?
I believe in Gods Word, and I believe in salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ period. I believe God has spoken to us through Abraham, Moses, His Profits, and His Saints over the years, we just need to listen, AND READ. I believe everything we need to know is in the Scriptures. I know from experience, God dose Heal and God dose provide. Sometimes through knowledge, sometimes through an instantaneous miracle, but He dose heal, and He dose provide. I believe Christ gave us the knowledge to distinguish between Matter and Spirit, and we are given the free will to make the choice to lean toward one or the other. Light and darkness can not occupy the same space at the same time. And Im sure Jesus wasn't drinking when He said you cant serve both God and money. Their is science to all this, absolute cause and effect. Though these days no one wants to hear it. I stand in total amazement when I look at what Christianity has turned into in this country and Europe. I wonder if we are all reading the same Bible.
Our divorce rate is higher then the secular community's at this point, and yet when you read the bios on even this site, all you see is divorce, time and time again. Everyone is claiming a Biblical Divorce these days. Some of us are being educated by men and woman that are motivated by the world and its trappings. These teachers are also very gifted in knowledge of The Word, and possess the capacity to deliver this new paradigm with conviction. But they have no real means to superseded their own attachment to this world and its offerings, wile leading their flock away from light and into shadows that have no substance in Christ, they just turn a blind eye to Jesus.
It seems to me they struggle desperately to use 10 or 20 verses scattered throughout the bible to cultivate a justification for their distorted doctrine, and take away the chances for so many to experience Christ in the Spirit as He intended us to. It makes my heart very heavy to see this day to day out here you look. I guess everything in its time.
A Prayer for a Courageous Soul - Your Daily Prayer - April 26
We have been given a remarkable gift through God and His redemption story. Not only have we received eternal life with our Creator, but we have received courage in Christ that will change the trajectory of our lives and the lives of those around us forever.
