Joyce Worman Asher When you see the stars at night you see God's creation. When you see a butterfly or a bird you are seeing God at work. A beautiful rainbow is heaven sent. A baby's laugh is Godly. When a stranger says a kind word to you or just gives you a smile you are seeing God. God's creations are good. We all miss the mark (meaning of sin) at times, yet when we listen to what God is saying we start to get it. Yes, Jesus is showing us the way, He was and is showing us how we can have heaven on earth. Listening and understanding that there is more to God than the Christian story will help the world to finally have the peace on earth that mankind is yearning for. Listen to the Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, Taoists, Budhists, atheists, etc. etc. Find the similarities instead of the differences. By God we are connected. We breathe the same air, drink the same water and share the DNA of our ancestors. When you see a picture of a starving child or yet another tragedy in another part of our world don't you feel the pain? Who could not feel the sorrow when the Challenger spaceship exploded? or Sept 11? Everyone on this planet is connected and we are all God's beautiful creations! And you better start realizing that all of us play a huge role in how the future of this planet will go. Everyday when you turn on the tap to have a drink of water who is in control? Everytime you purchase another item in the store, who is in control? God helps those who learn to help themselves. Thank you for sharing. I love you all.

Alec Satele I'm just so thankful and blessed to be a part of a church that teaches SOUND doctrine and pastors that passionately shepherd their flock @ peineridgechurch.org

Loretta Weichler Mitchell I guess you would be in charge if you choose not to accept Christ! God is in control, He is the light of the world and His light is in His Children!

Joyce Worman Asher How you put it is so beautiful in so many ways..

Loretta Weichler Mitchell In answer to your earlier questions...Who is God? God is the creator of heaven and earth. God has no beginning and no end. He is holy, incomprehensible, omnipresent, omniscient, merciful, righteous, self-sufficient, sovereign, unchanging and wise, just to name a few. Where is God? God is everywhere all the time. What is God? God is a Spirit and has no body as we do. We are not all connected. I am not you and you are not me. We were all made by God but God is not within each of us. Sin is within all of us (maybe that's what you meant when you said we are all connected)...We are all sinners. God chose before the beginning of time whom He would save. My salvation has nothing to do with anything I do or don't do but everything to do with what He did. Salvation from our sins is God's free gift through faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is deliverance from the power of sin and death. Salvation comes to all who believe in Jesus.

Loretta Weichler Mitchell There is only one way to the Father and that is through the Son, Jesus Christ. John 14:6

Elisa Clinkscales When you know in your heart, soul and mind that you are truly one with God you will listen to what God leads you to do and that is your salvation. Christianity is one way to find your path to God but it is not the only way.

Loretta Weichler Mitchell No, God is not within you unless you accept Him as your Lord. If you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus in Lord, then you are His. You must accept His free gift of salvation.

Beautiful song..........Nobody knows what we're for only what we're against when we judge the wounded...What if we put down our signs crossed over the line and love like you did? Powerful words. Jesus is our Supreme Example. Therefore, if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also the interests of others. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.....Phil 2:1-5 NKJV.

Really? Who is God? Where is God? What is God? Are we not all connected? I am you and you are me and we are of God and God is within each of us.

Hello and Blessings to all, I just want to share my happiness. I went to their concert in Newark, New Jersey at the Prudential Center. It was a great experience to see how many people came to the concert. It was awesome. God Bless them all.

Loretta Weichler Mitchell we are not ultimately in charge of our own destiny...I hope that's not really what you meant because if so that takes ultimate Sovereignty away from God.

  • 2012-03-29T18:35:30

It is time to realize WE are responsible for our own actions. Use Jesus as our guide but ultimately WE are in charge of our own destiny. The LIGHT of God is within all of us.

we're missing the point of the song...read the lyrics posted upthread! WE ARE THE SINNERS this song is about. the song is about hypocrisy, as we bask in our "sanctity", not seeing that we're not worthy, much less qualified, to call our brother (who we see as "less" than us because HIS/HER sin is GREATER than ours) sinner without wearing that mantle ourselves.

Great song with further implications. It is the love of God that drove Jesus to die for sinners like me and it is his love that draws us. We are in no position to judge anyone and point fingers, rather we should reach out and love and be merciful just as Jesus demonstrated. Only Jesus can judge us and he will do so justly and that day will come. Let's make sure we respond to Jesus' love and mercy and allow him to be our Saviour, Lord and King!
