This reminds of how thankful I am for the things I do have but I also thought at the ones who don't have a family to come home to or those serving in the military some may have gone through a bad hurricane and lost eveything a love one and how they wish to be able to just once see the love one they lost just to reach out and touch. I am also thankful for God who is helping to me look beyond peoples negative thoughts about this video and to continue to love them as He loves them. I thank the skit guys for helping to bring a smile and a deep thought of how to appreciate others. So those who have family give them a hug a smile support for we are not promised tomorrow. Oh skit guys don't cook lol. God Bless Everyone and hold on to the ones you love.

Love, Love, Loved It! We all NEED this reminder, and not just at Thanksgiving! Thanks for the laughter!

Yes, this is why animals eat their young. LOL

I am with you, Tim, I don't even like necklaces made out of macaroni or collages out of beans - I can't help thinking of all the hungry people.

What great memories shared among family - there's no better thing <3.

I have been to other countries that are labeled "thrid world" and I understand you concerns but don't get caught up in the food loss (could not have eaten it anyway) and see the joy of silly family love

This is awesome! My Pastor gave a sermon the week before Thanksgiving, and told us to lighten up... this is a great example!

Don't worry. Only GMO food was used in this video.

I agree. Our church mentioned during our service last night that 25% of our food goes to waste during Thanksgiving, so if you want point fingers, we need to start with ourselves. The family tradition in sharing God's blessings is the focus we all need to address. Besides, being on movie scenes (of all degrees) myself, they wate tons more food than was in this skit.

Give me a break...there are a few things you are overlooking...how bout the fact that God is so much bigger than a couple pounds of potatoes..that He is the creator of all things..do you not think that He can supply all our needs? Does the worlds problems revolve around us...or do we revolve around God, and His Grace? This Was A Skit....why read anything else into it! Furthermore...it seems that this video ended in a loving manner, which l think was the point of it...savor all that God gives us...love each other, and do what you can to let others know that you love them. Another point is the fact that what if you were a missionary in a famine? Would you not eat? Would you feel guilty? How could you do any good if you starved right along with them. The question you should ask yourself is, what do you want me to do Father, not guilt yourself into thinking that you should starve along with them. God serves His grace to who He chooses! And be thankful for all that He provides. I thought this was a great message..to enjoy the grace of God and all He provides. So please rejoice, our Father IS in control...let him be God!!!!

Mark Ketchum Thanks for the comments. I appreciate the fact that you're able to see the priority all about building on our relationship with God with this video, and your perspective on the idea of starting a new tradition of having a food fight with the leftovers (if there's nothing wrong with any of it) is worth considering. I don't think I would go for that aspect of the message, either. Apart from that, I think the video was good. I certainly needed that laugh! Thanksgiving blessings to you and yours!

You Americans at this time still can afford to do a lot of waste. I'd rather that you don't view it in only your own perspective. There are lots who get hungry, and very soon, you too will.

I think the food fight was the best, because if you have the spirit of God living in you. You will be able to see the joy the family had enjoying a time of great fun, many of us today do not know how to enjoy each other, the point being, what was a bad food idea turn into a great food fight.... I think I am going to try this at my Thanksgiving table but like many of you my family will have a fit but oh well...Lol :)
