Moms are our trusted teachers. our faithful protectors. Moms are our security. our dream makers. Moms are our examples. our advisors Moms are our angels. sent from above- Moms are given to us. so that we can know about love- Moms may not be perfect. or spotless like the white. snow... Moms make mistakes too. just to let you know... So if your Mom is living. you would do well to let. your anger go... If your Mom ever let you down in life, please let your forgiveness show... Free yourself from hurtful memories. and allow your heart to grow......des.

Jim Loeffert Thank you ,I agree with you, about the AA/ NA confusion you can't be free from addiction if you continue to confess that you're an addict I'm free from addiction myself but not by my doing but By the grace of God I to am a new creature in Christ. I have forgiven my Mom it's the best I can do.I met Her only a few time in my life and those time she would blame me for Her lot in life, there was very little I could do to help Her so it was better just to leave Her alone. I was a small c Christian at the time I don't know if She knew Christ at Her death I could only hope so but if not. I once ask God about people going to hell the Lord told me that People in Hell insisted on it thank you for sharing it's nice to her your story of Salvation I'm sure it is quite the testimony

Where would we be without MOMS? Answer: Not Here! Thank you, mom!

Hey Richard, the horrors of addiction, sadly, are mis-understood, and treated like crime, instead of teaching them Christ, and how HE can make you a new creature, you have groups like NA and other12 step programs, where a part of their 'charter', is for every person to stand up and say their name, followed by "and I'm an addict". Putting that into your' brain over & over, for some, thousands of times, it's no small wonder they do not ever stay 'clean' very long? I do not know your' entire life history, and it's none of my business. I'd be willing to bet, your' mom loved you, and at some point (you may have not seen with a very young set of eyes, or remember?), 'tried' to break what is a very VERY hard to break, circle? I was very blessed, I will be clean (4 years I think), and without people in my life, BELIEVERS, who steadfastly supported me after re-hab, I know by now, I'd be just another statistic. Dead and gone, in Heaven only because of Gods' Grace, but it took me ALL of this time to win back some peoples' trust, & I do not worry about those who see me as 'Jim the junky'. Jesus says I'm a new creature, and my mom was a part of that support system. I will BE PRAYING FOR YOU, and I do not say it unless I mean it, your' name is going on my prayer list. You are right, when we are in the dark terrible place, addiction takes us, and at first it is a choice, after awhile, you are sick daily without your' drug of choice, it is very hard, perhaps impossible to be anybodys' heroe! I thank God I got a 2nd chance, and God looks at the HEART, who knows, she may have cried out to Jesus? The next time you see her, could be the day you say "mom, Christ stepped in, and allowed me to build a legacy you could never dream!" Deep down, every mom has a bond with her child, that only a mom can explain. I am not an expert on addiction, just a new creature in Christ, who believes that deep in your' moms' heart, she wanted very badly to be your' heroe. God Bless you.

Not all moms are heroes sad to say. My mom was a full blown addict til the day she died. That being said I see a lot of moms stepping up to the plate to help make a difference in a child's life and I will always be proud of the mother who do just that putting themselves last and lift their children up first. Happy mothers day out there to you all.

All moms are heroes! God put us here to be heroes for our children. God bless all the mom's and grandmothers out there. We are all very special!
