No Jesus - no peace. Know jesus - know peace ( John 14:27 ; Philippians 4: 6,7 ; Isaiah 26: 3,4 ; 9:6 ) Knowing Him ( Plilippians 3:10 ) is the goal and the prize ; The process ( vs. 11-14 ) is also the goal (see also) Philippians 1:6 ; 2:12,13 ; John 6:35 ; 17:3. Never rhymes, with forever...

God does not want some to be saved and others to be lost.(2Peter3:9) If this is true then it stands to reason that He does not want some to be sick and others well; and some have plenty while others starve. so where is the disconnect? We live in a fallen world and sin sickness run rampant over all of human kind. WE are born in sin and shapen in iniquity. The devil didn't make me do anything, we all like sheep have gone astray and turned each of us to his own way, and that's why Jesus came to die, the lamb of God, from the foundation of the world. It is the nature of a sinner to sin. The standard for us now who call ourselves believers, is Christ and not one another.God's standard is too high for you and I to reach in our own strength and natural ability( John 15:5) but in Christ I can do all things.Like what kind of things? Be holy as God is holy 1 Pet 1:15,16; be perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect Matt.5:48; be of good cheer Jn.16:33. Super-natural man Girl. 2:20; Coll. 3:3; 1:27,28...it's a mystery Christ in you...2U4U& thru U2 touch others.Jesus said, which is easier to say, your sins be forgiven you or to say arise and be physically healed. These signs shall follow them that believe;..and lo I am with you even unto the end of the age Mk 16:17,18 Matt. 28:15-20 Are there sick people today? Yes of course there are. So call for the elders of the church and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord...and expect some thing divine to happen. Was the super-natural only for the 1st century Church? No, a thousand times, no! (John 17:20;20:21,22) Don't throw out the baby with the bath water. If you don't believe you surely will not see. I don't know if I have waxed eloquent but I have waxed long. So what does this great salvation include? Deliverance from the devil? Yes of course, I don't belong to him any more (11 Cor 5:17) I'm an ex-loser Rom 8:37 A present tense winner (in Christ) Jn 16:33; Rev 3:21 Healing for your body? Heb 13:8 God does not change, He's not lost any of His anything. It's us that are standing in need. Why do we need to explain away the power of God? Just because it's not happening in my life or ministry does not necesarily mean that it's not in the PERFECT will of God. Missing the mark (sin) is an archery term. The only way to hit that mark (Jude 24, 25 ; Eph 3:20,21) Is to let go (Phil 2:5) and to let God. (Coll 3:15,16 ; Matt. 5:16 ) You don't MAKE it shine ( 11Cor 4:6,7 ) You let Christ have free course in and thru your life (Rom 12:1,2). The #1 Big Problem, as I see it is the control issue. If God is my co-pilot , that's better than not at all; but at some point in time , we need to realize He's a better PILOT than a co-pilot! the problem now is one of learning about God's timing! It seems that God is slow and even distant when we need Him most; therefore we need to step in and help Him out. It's not E.Z. to just jump into the back seat and leave all the driving to the person of the Holy Spirit, and yet that has to happen in your life and mine (Eph 5:27,32) if we (1Jn 1:7 ;1 Cor 2:16, 9,10) and us are ever to reach the higher levels of faith. Let me try and sum up what I've been trying to say; I'd rather shoot too high and miss the target than too low and hit the target consistently!

Like most issues in God's word, He is talking first and foremost about or spiritual condition because that's where humans' first disconnected from Him. Everything else after the fall in Eden is leading up to redemption from that. Our physical health started going bad way back then. Since our bodies have not yet been "saved"(that will happen at the rapture), no one maintains perfect health. Therefore everyone is always in the gradual process of physically dying anyway- in different ways and rates of decline. The bible does say that someone's spiritual strength can greatly help their natural health and keep them alive longer. However Jesus' shedding blood to the point of death and then resurrection healed the most serious disease which we all had- spiritual death.

I totally disagree, in the new testament Paul repeats that in past tense by he's stripes we were healed, now it is also a matter of faith , Christ said that we would be able to do his works and even more in His name, let us not limit Christ by getting in discussions to figure out what Isaiah Means on this passage, Jesus said that with faith everything is possible and nothing is impossible to God , there is a story of the woman with a blood disease that touched Jesus and was healed instantly, and Jesus said "YOUR FAITH has healed you" it is as we believe it is how we have faith-" whatsoever you desire when you pray believe that you've received it and it will be yours" That is something that Jesus Said it is written in the Bible , Said by Jesus, Whatsoever it's a very brad statement and I think it includes healing but we must have faith - just like we a saved by grace THROUGH FAITH - IT IS AS WE BELIEVE - Peter walked on water for a while till he doubt it- so let's not limit Christ with our doubts or theological opinions and lets have faith that GOd loves us now and forever and by "His stripes we are healed" whatever that means to you believe and it shall be done knock and the door shall open. Have Faith in God!
