How do you know that you are really saved? Not mainly by good works you may do: they will come as you grow. Not mainly by a surge in growth of your faith: that too will come as you grow. You will know because God Himself will let you know that He is now within you and will be now and for eternity. God does not save someone from sin and death and then leave the person in the dark. When you are really saved, you will feel His Presence, and The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit will assure you that you are His ande always will be. He does the main work in saving you from sin and death. All you have to do is ask for it sincerely and then reach out and take it, no matter how feeble your efforts may seem to you. He will take it from there and will show you what to do.

I will know I am saved when I either wake up in heaven or feel the cleansing fires of purgatory, but while I still have breathe I will "work out my salvation in fear and trembling". It's always so sad for me to hear these preachers without authority speak as is they did.

This Pastor is explaining what 2 Corinthians 5:18-21 assures us. When you start quoting John and Peter then you have to endure til the end! Earthly kingdom promise to the Nation of Israel. Cant make it in unless you do something. Repent and be baptized for the remission of sins for the kingdom of God is near. This is not what is promised to us the uncircumcised. We are promised a heavenly kingdom!

I am the way and the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:7

Very well put to its simplest term, because we are taught not to be weary in doing good, but rather watch out for the errors that can and will tear us away from that salvation (1Pe.2:18-22).
